Kingsville in Second Place

(KINGSVILLE, ON) – The highly competitive Greater Metro Jr. A Hockey League's South Division has been a dog fight for points in the standings. The Kingsville Kings split the weekend with 1 win and 1 lose, taking down the Renegades but falling against the Attack.

The defending South Division Champion Kings are sitting second place with an impressive 15-4-2 record. Only trailing the Niagara Whalers for the divisional lead.

On home ice, the Kings fell to the Attack 6-5 final. The storied Toronto Attack are always a GMHL powerhouse and gave the home-town Kings a great match.

Justin Lalonde played great between the pipes for the Kings making 30 saves.

Finding the back of the net for Kingsville included: Baxter, Garcia 2, Naida and Leach.

The Kings are back at it next week with two road games in Oshawa and Tillsonburg before returning home Sunday to host the St. George Ravens. The Ravens should be another great match for the hometown Kings, come on out for a 3:00pm puck drop Sunday afternoon.
