KINGS REMAIN UNDEFEATED

Sept 29, 2015

The Kingsville Kings lead both the Southern Division and the entire 32 team GMHL with a undefeated 7-0-0 record. The Kings have been living up to the pre-season hype, with their latest 8-1 victory over the Brantford SteelFighters.

The most impressive part of the 7 game winstreak is the even contributions from all parts of the lineup. Mathias Gardiman leads the team with 14 points in 7 games, but 9 Kings players all are registering over a point-per-game so far.

In goal, Jan Pechek leads the crease with five victories including a shutout.

Kingsville is also quickly garnering a reputation as a tough team. Leading the league in PIMS with 243 -- the next closest is 201.

Comparing league wide, Kingsville sits second in Goals For (53) and fifth in Goals Against (11). All signs of a complete hockey team.

Kingsville will look to make the streak eight on Friday, October 2nd when they host the Brantford SteelFighters. Puck drop is 8:00pm at the home of the Kings.
