2015 GMHL Entry Draft Results

The Kingsville Kings would like to congratulate and welcome all players selected in the 2015 GMHL Entry Draft. 
 
Brennan Coughlin
Coughlin acquired in a trade with the Seguin Huskies; will play the next four years in prep school at the prestigious Kent Hill School. The scouting staff will follow the 2000 birth year forward's progress and look forward to him possibly being a king after he completes high school. 
 
Cameron Smith
Smith acquired in a trade from the Seguin Huskies is a 1999 forward who played with Jimmy Johns AAA program. Smith has a big frame and good hands; his future at the junior level is very bright and the Kings hope to have him in the organization in the near future. 
 
Justin Schebel 
Schebel is a 1996 D-man the staff has been recruiting for over two years. Justin has a big body but skates smooth on the ice and has great vision. Last playing in the EHL; Schebel has been a top targeted player for the club to compete at a high level immediately. 
 
Noah Johnson
Johnson is a 1996 Defensman who last played with the elite midget club; Troy Sting from Michigan. Johnson was scouted at the Michigan Pre Draft Showcase and was a noticeable stand out player in all games played. 
 
Johnny Geiser 
Johnny Is a 1997 forward who played high school in Minnasota for the Henry Sibley Warriors. Johnny is a very smart forward who competes every shift and has a tireless work ethic. Geiser will return to high school for his senior year and is a player the Kings will hope to have on their roster after he completes high school. 
 
Austin Burke
The 1997 forward last played with the Sudbury Wolves AAA program. Burke is a big forward who can be gritty while also being able to put the puck In the net. He competes hard and has a knack for being a strong playmaker. 
 
Austin Jennings
Jennings is a local player from Belle River. The big defenseman is a smart; fast defenseman who moves the puck well and has a hard shot from the point. He is a player who has been recruited heavily by the Kings and hope to have in their line up once the puck drops in September. 

 
The following players have signed GMHL Tenders before the 2015 entry draft:
 
Ben Henderson
Ben is a big defenseman who last played junior A hockey with the Maine Wild. He is offensive and has a scoring threat whenever on the ice. The 1995 veteran will be heavily relied on for the Kings. 
 
Matt Henderson
Matt is a 1994 veteran forward who last led the entire Maine Wild Junior A team in points. He is a natural playmaker who will be an offensive threat while also being defensively responsible in all three zones. Matt will be a leader on and off the ice in Kingsville. 

Brendan Sorrels
Sorrels is a 1997 rookie D-man who last played at Walled Lake Northern High School; averaging over a point per game. Brendan is a big hitting; strong player who is not afraid to mix it up. He can make plays on the ice and also play forward when needed. 
 
Kyle Boerner
Boerner is a 1997 rookie forward who averaged a goal per game with Walled Lake Northern. The rugged forward can flat out score and is an offensive threat. He has a big body and can open up a lot of ice with his size and speed. 
 
Manuel Manero
Manero is a 1997 rookie forward who last played in Saskatchewan at the prestigious Notre Dame Prep School. Manero is strong on the puck and is a responsible forward in all three zones. Manero originally from Spain also plays on the Spain National Team.
