The Kingsville Kings sent the Oshawa Riverkings downstream after hosting them this past weekend. The battle of the two GMHL King mascots resulted in Kingsville dominating Oshawa in a 7-3 victory, to bring their record back above .500 at 4 wins and 3 losses.

Veteran forward Dan Leach was the first star of the game scoring a hat trick in the match. Second star was top Czech defenceman Jakub Mecir who had three points of his own, including a goal. The other Kings to find the back of the net were Kusior, Malinsky and Garcia.

Between the pipes Pierce Dubowski had the victory.

The kings are now on a winning streak, with two in a row. The club has their eyes set on extending that streak in the coming weeks. The schedule lets up for the Kings with the Komoka Dragons upcoming next.  The Dragons have only won 2 games this year and have a lost a lot of their veteran players after coaching issues.
